Do I need to obtain any permits or permissions before starting the deck installation process?
In almost all cases, a permit is required prior to building a deck. Permission on lot set backs, along with posthole open frame and final inspections are completed.
What kind of maintenance will my Trex deck require after installation and how frequently?
All outdoor products require cleaning to remain in pristine condition and Trex is no different. To keep your deck in the best shape, soap-and-water cleaning or a gentle pressure washing will do the trick. No need to stain, paint, or seal your Trex deck.
Do you offer assistance with the design phase, or do I need to have the design prior to beginning the process?
We offer a full turnkey design build service! If you do not have a design, we can help design your desired deck.
What steps will be involved in the deck installation process? How will it be disruptive to my daily life?
The process is as follows:
- Design and planning
- Permitting
- Construction
- Final inspection
There will be minimal disruptions to the home owner depending on the size and scope of the project.

Yes, the Trex material warranty which ranges from 25-50 years as well as a 6-10 year labor warranty!

How long does it typically take to install a deck?
The timeline will depend on the size of the deck. However, on average, you can expect 1 week from start to finish of the deck installation.

Will there be any additional costs or unexpected expenses during the installation process that I should be aware of?
There should be no surprise expenses through the process as long as the proper planning and initial steps are taken care of prior to beginning the project.
Can you provide assistance with landscaping or other enhancements to compliment the new deck?
Yes, in some cases we will be able to assist you in accomodating your deck with new landscape. On the off chance we cannot, we can make great reccomendations.
Are there any special features/customizations available for my deck? Built-in seating, lighting, etc.?
